Museum of Marble handicraft – Pyrgos (Island of Tinos) 2002-4

The museum aprox. ~2.000 sq. m was designed and constructed as a natural continuity of the landscape of the picturesque village of Pyrgos. It is a building of of solid modern form. The construction materials of the building are the  concrete,  stone, the metal and the glass. The natural and the artificial light has been studied and given in such a way to make the most of the exhibits, and in the same time to cover the functional needs of the building.
